What to Know About the Improved Formula of Maximum Prostate

So why did we change Maximum Prostate?  The short answer is we wanted to make our best product better.  The primary ingredients in Maximum Prostate that help thousands of men sleep through the night are all still there.  We just removed one tiny ingredient and added much more. Please read on if you want to learn what we did and why.

What hasn’t changed and never will:

Phytosterols: Maximum Prostate uses the strongest source of phytosterols, Phitopin®, for Beta Sitosterol on the market.  Yielding 70% beta sitosterol allows us not only to put 600 mg of this wonderful phytonutrient in each serving but it also gives us room to spare to fill with all the extra nutrients for a well-rounded prostate supplement.

Beta Sitosterol is the most important ingredient Maximum Prostate provides.  Most, if not all, competitors do not pack a beta sitosterol punch like Maximum Prostate.  Studies confirm that beta sitosterol does improve urine flow verses placebos and assists with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).1

Selenium:  Selenium is a classic essential trace mineral for prostate health.  It has and always will be a part of Maximum Prostate.  Although toxic when large amounts are consumed, the body requires trace amounts for various cellular functions.  The body uses the selenoproteins, an antioxidant enzyme, from selenium for fighting free radicals and reactive oxygen species that are destructive to cells and genetic materials in our bodies including the male prostate.  Maximum Prostate has 100% of the daily recommended dose of selenium.

Zinc:  This is also a classic mineral for prostate health.  Studies show that an enlarged prostate may be associated with depleted zinc tissue.2

A common food source for zinc is pumpkin seeds and many prostate supplements include pumpkin seed extract for that very reason.  Instead of messing with pumpkin seed extract so your body can then pull out the zinc, we use Zinc Citrate and go straight to the source.  Maximum Prostate has 134% of the daily recommended dose in each serving.

What is Gone!

Soy Isoflavones:  Although soy in small doses may be beneficial for prostate health, we have removed the ingredient due to the ongoing press that soy may induce estrogen.  Don’t worry.  We’ve replaced it with a nutrient that does the opposite!

What’s New:

Dim or DI-Indolyl Methane:  This wonderful phytonutrient is what replaced Soy Isoflavones.  As men age, they tend to lose their ability to produce testosterone which could lead to an imbalance between

testosterone and estrogen. Unlike Soy Isoflavones, DIM supports the metabolism of estrogen and related hormones by assisting the liver in metabolizing estrogen.

Vitamin D3:  Honestly, why not add vitamin D.  Among all the wonderful things Vitamin D does for the body, prostate health is on that list.  Studies show a direct correlation with prostate health and vitamin D deficiency.3   Known as the sunshine vitamin, Vitamin D3 provides multiple benefits. There are Vitamin D receptors in prostate tissue. By binding to a receptor, Vitamin D may assist in the health of the prostate.4

Copper:  Seems odd doesn’t it?  Actually copper has antioxidant properties like selenium but zinc may actually deplete your copper levels.  Therefore, we are making sure to counter balance any depletion occurring from the zinc supplementation.

Manganese:  Also known as the “brain mineral”, Manganese is a part of the enzyme called superoxide dismutase (MnSOD).  MnSOD is an antioxidant that may assist in prostate health along with sex drive and even sperm count.

Chromium:  This mineral is especially known for its blood sugar support and its ability to breakdown fats and proteins. Maintaining healthy blood sugar levels is always a good thing and all around health is always good for your insides, including the prostate.

Molybdenum:  This trace element assists in the formation of aldehyde oxidase.  Aldehyde oxidase may help detoxify acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is a toxic substance released from yeast, fungi and alcohol metabolism. Acetaldehyde also stresses the liver and kidneys and is thought to promote vitamin B deficiency.
